I am a CEF medals collector. I am in the process of acquiring Joseph LaCaillie's WWI British War Medal. I was surprised to see his name appear as one of our War Dead, as his medal is named to him as a member of the 69th Battalion Canadian Infantry. It would appear he was found drowned in a lake local to where he is buried.
